Medical Physics Research Intern

Support ASRIMP research projects in dosimetry, Monte Carlo simulation and imaging analysis, with mentorship toward publication.

Responsibilities

  • Run and validate Monte Carlo or FEA simulations (COMSOL, ANSYS, Geant4)
  • Process imaging datasets and produce reproducible analysis notebooks
  • Contribute to manuscripts, posters and internal technical notes

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc student in physics, medical physics or biomedical engineering
  • Python or MATLAB proficiency
  • Interest in radiation safety and clinical translation

Education & Curriculum Fellow

Build and maintain ASRIMP teaching material, including the CAMPEP/ABR preparation track and open lecture series.

Responsibilities

  • Author study guides, problem sets and exam-style questions
  • Curate and review library resources by topic
  • Host online review sessions for students and residents

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in medical physics or a closely related field
  • Teaching or tutoring experience
  • Familiarity with the ABR examination structure

  • ABR/EFOMP-certified or equivalent clinical qualification
  • Active clinical practice in therapy, imaging or nuclear medicine

  • Translate and adapt content (English, French, Arabic)
  • Moderate the community discussion space

  • Strong written communication in at least two of EN/FR/AR
  • Interest in science communication and global health
